Job summary

Manufacturing Recruitment Ltd seeks a Cloud FinOps Analyst to drive financial accountability, cost transparency, and optimisation across cloud and data platforms, with a focus on Azure and Snowflake.

The role involves leading governance, cost observability, and collaboration with Engineering, Data, Cloud Operations and Finance to enable a cost-efficient, data-driven cloud ecosystem in a hybrid office setup.

Qualifications

• Strong financial analysis capability, including spend forecasting and reporting to technical/non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud cost management and FinOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud pricing models and governance frameworks.
• Experience with Kubecost and cloud-native cost portals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead FinOps optimisation across cloud/data platforms with focus on Snowflake and Kubecost.
• Analyse cloud/Snowflake spend, identify trends and optimisation opportunities.
• Implement and track cost-saving actions like rightsizing and workload scheduling.
• Develop and enforce cost governance: tagging, budgeting, guardrails, accountability.
• Oversee cost observability tooling to ensure visibility of usage and budgets.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, Cloud Ops and Data teams.
