Join a leading consultancy organisation in their Cloud & Infrastructure Team and shape the future of technology. We are seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Engineer with strong VMware expertise to join a fast-growing engineering team focused on delivering modern, scalable cloud solutions. This is not a support or maintenance role. You will work on high-impact, specialised projects that transform clients’ infrastructure using VMware and Microsoft Azure VMware Solution (AVS).

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Migrations: Lead seamless migration of application workloads to AVS and other public cloud platforms.
2. Infrastructure Modernisation: Help clients evolve from legacy VMware setups to scalable, modern Azure AVS solutions.
3. Cloud Deployments: Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure automated, secure, and optimised platform delivery.
4. VMware Platform Optimisation: Improve performance, automation, and resilience across hybrid cloud environments.

Skills & Experience:

1. Expert knowledge of VMware technologies including Aria Suite, Cloud Foundation, vSphere, and vSAN.
2. Strong experience with VMware NSX-T and software-defined networking/security.
3. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
4. Experience across multi-cloud environments including AWS and GCP.
5. Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, with practical experience in agile teams.
6. Professional communication skills, with the ability to document, present, and collaborate effectively.
