Our growing team operates across cloud and infrastructure technologies, focusing on VMware and Microsoft Azure VMware Solution (AVS). This role involves delivering specialised projects, not operational support, offering variety and professional development. You will work with cutting-edge VMware technologies and Microsoft Azure, leveraging open-source and proprietary tools. Hybrid working is available, combining office, client sites, and home, but not 100% remote.

Your role

As a VMware Engineer in our cloud platform team, you will:

1. Migrate workloads to cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure VMware Solution (AVS).
2. Assist in platform modernisation from legacy VMware to Azure AVS.
3. Collaborate on public cloud deployment with DevOps and SRE teams.
4. Optimize VMware platforms for resilience, security, and automation across hybrid environments.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for candidates with:

• Deep VMware expertise, including VMware Aria Suite, Cloud Foundation, vSphere, and vSAN.
• Strong understanding of VMware networking and security, especially NSX-T.
• Azure expertise, particularly with AVS and VMware workload integration.
• Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud, including AWS and GCP.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.

Your security clearance

SC clearance is required, which involves UK residency for the past 5 years and other criteria. Some roles may be restricted to UK nationals.
