Job summary

SiXworks is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and deliver secure digital solutions in highly secure environments for Defence and National Security missions. You’ll collaborate with engineers, architects, and delivery specialists to enable faster, safer decision-making for critical operations.

Your work will include provisioning Azure IaaS/PaaS, container orchestration with AKS/ACI, and implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud administration, or DevOps roles.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deliver secure digital solutions in highly secure environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and delivery specialists to enable faster, safer decision-making for critical operations.
• Provision and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, AKS, App Services, Storage, VNets).
• Orchestrate containerised apps using AKS and ACI.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Implement RBAC and identity management via Entra ID; manage NSGs and firewalls.
• Monitor system health with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Audit resource usage to right-size environments and reduce cloud spend.
