Job summary

SiXworks seeks a Cloud Engineer to design, build and secure digital solutions in highly secure environments. You will collaborate with engineers, architects and delivery specialists to enable faster, safer decision-making for critical operations.

Key focus areas include Azure IaaS/PaaS, AKS, Terraform IaC, RBAC and network security, monitoring with Azure Monitor, and CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. 3+ years in IT infra or DevOps preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud administration, or DevOps roles.
• Strong proficiency in Azure IaaS/PaaS and container services (AKS).
• Experience with Terraform and IaC practices.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Provision and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, AKS, App Services, Storage, VNet).
• Containerisation: Orchestrate and scale containerised apps via AKS and ACI.
• Automation & IaC: Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Security & Governance: Implement RBAC and identity management with Entra ID; configure NSGs and firewalls.
• Monitoring & Reliability: Use Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for health and logs.
• CI/CD Integration: Support pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Cost & Performance Optimization: Right-size resources and reduce cloud spend.
