Job summary

SiXworks is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build and operate secure digital solutions in highly secure environments. You will collaborate with engineers, architects and delivery specialists to enable faster, safer decision-making for critical operations.

You will maintain and improve multi-classification, virtualised environments and provide infrastructure support across public cloud SaaS (Office 365) and project-based systems.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Windows Server 2016+.
• Proficient with VMware vSphere/VCF and Microsoft 365.
• Strong Linux (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu) administration.
• PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Experience with secure provisioning and hardening.
• Knowledge of SSO concepts and protected environments.
• Kubernetes administration in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Nessus/ vulnerability tooling.
• Experience with Terraform and HashiCorp Vault.
• Agile sprint experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver secure digital solutions in highly secure environments.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and delivery specialists to enable faster, safer decision-making.
• Maintain, monitor and improve infrastructure across multi-classification, virtualised environments.
• Provide infrastructure support to public cloud SaaS offerings and project-based systems.
• Triage monitoring alerts, perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
• Keep platforms patched in line with provider recommendations and security policy.
• Develop knowledge through study toward relevant certifications.
• Advise customers and project teams on infrastructure and support aspects.
