Job summary

Accenture UK in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our cloud capability team. You will implement automation across DevOps toolchains, manage IaC with Terraform, and work with Azure and AWS, bringing CI/CD and security best practices to client projects.

You will collaborate with development teams, contribute to dashboards in Power BI, and help drive DevOps adoption across hybrid environments, while supporting on-call shifts and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing automation solutions using a broad range of DevOps toolsets.
• Experience with Terraform and other IaC tools.
• Proficiency with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
• Associate-level cloud certification in Azure or AWS.
• Experience with ITSM (ServiceNow) and incident, change, and problem management.
• Power BI proficiency for deployment metrics and cost visualization.
• On-call support responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple projects as part of a wider cloud capability team.
• Oversee the DevOps toolchain execution and promote the DevOps culture.
• Assist customers with DevOps projects and provide consultative services.
• Advise on automation tooling and optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with development teams to meet acceptance criteria and lead CI/CD and IaC efforts.
• Set up and manage development/test environments and software configuration management.
• Lead transition to DevOps and drive tool adoption.
• Resolve and escalate issues as necessary.
• Undertake trainings and certifications on latest technologies.
