Job summary

AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software, seeks a Cloud Developer to enhance infrastructure supporting key customer workflows. The role is based in Cambridge, UK, in a hybrid setup with on-site 50% of working hours to foster collaboration and connection.

You will work within our Unified Supply Chain R&D team, tackling infrastructure improvements, design decisions balancing technical robustness and business value, and production issue diagnosis with senior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IaC development and modern cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient in scripting with PowerShell.
• Experience with Azure core services (compute, storage, security, monitoring, diagnostics).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and proactive ownership.

Job description

Salary: £45,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) development
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or similar
• Experience and understanding of core Azure services, including compute, storage, security, monitoring, and diagnostics
• A proactive, self-starting approach and ownership of work through to production
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• C#/.NET experience is desired

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely in a team environment to deliver high-quality improvements to our existing infrastructure platform
• Contribute to the design of infrastructure improvements, balancing robust technical solutions with business value
• Diagnose and fix issues affecting production infrastructure, supported by experienced colleagues
