Job summary

Vertu Motors plc, Gateshead, is seeking a Data Analyst to join the team and lead the rebuild of the data warehouse in the cloud using SQL, AWS Glue, and Power BI. The role involves working with stakeholders to identify data needs, ensuring data quality, and delivering insightful dashboards.

The position is based at our Gateshead head office in the North East with a salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Data Analyst role.
• Strong experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience with AWS Glue or similar ETL tools.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Data Warehouse using SQL.
• Develop ETL processes using AWS Glue.
• Create reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
• Analyse large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data analysis tools and techniques.
