Job summary

Outsource UK in Desford is seeking a Data Analyst to join a Global engineering client on a 12‑month, site‑based contract. You will drive data‑led decision making using PowerBI, Snowflake, SAP and related tools to translate supply chain data into actionable insights.

You will develop reporting solutions, improve data visibility and support continuous improvement across supply chain and operations. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Expert in Excel.
• Proficient in Python coding and data analysis.
• Experience with SAP, SQL and Power Query for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting needs and CI opportunities.

About the Role: Our client is looking for a technically advanced and detail-oriented Data Scientist to join their team in Desford. You will play a key role in enabling data-led decision-making, by using PowerBI, Snowflake, SAP, and more, to translate complex supply chain data into actionable business insights. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop reporting solutions, improve data visibility, and support continuous improvement across supply chain and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting needs and identify CI opportunities Utilise knowledge of power query, SQL, and other coding languages to improve reporting capability with SAP and other MRP systems.
• Develop automated solutions for repetitive tasks.
• Develop advanced analytical capability with complex supply chain datasets, and generate actionable business insights Build and maintain various dashboards and data visualisations using PowerBI and more.
