Job summary

Woven By Toyota is seeking a Software Engineer for the Sensor & Calibration team to accelerate cloud-based validation and calibration tooling. The role focuses on developing scalable validation pipelines for LiDAR data in the cloud and coordinating with hardware and data teams for end-to-end sensor validation across cameras, LiDARs, IMUs, and radars.

The candidate will improve maintainability and observability of validation services, evolve the Vision library for extensibility, and ensure robust

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with production-quality coding experience.
• Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (Spark, BigQuery) and cloud-based data pipelines.
• Familiarity with autonomous driving sensor modalities (camera, LiDAR, IMU, radar).
• Experience maintaining scalable, observable cloud infrastructure for validation systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver calibration & validation pipelines and their infrastructure.
• Write high-quality, scalable code and workflows for cloud-based validation services.
• Develop SQL-based validation tests and validate sensor data across multiple platforms.
• Enhance the shared Vision library to improve developer experience and extensibility.
• Monitor production systems and improve observability and reliability across teams.
• Collaborate across hardware, data, and software teams in a fast-paced environment.
