Job summary

Jobtailor in Farnborough is seeking an automation-focused professional to assist in the operation, development and implementation of automation across hosting platforms. You will collaborate with solution SMEs and maintenance teams to drive automation tasks and ensure security and functional compliance throughout project cycles.

The role involves writing technical documentation, diagrams and procedures, and staying current with emerging automation technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with automation design and implementation across cloud platforms.
• Proficient scripting and IaC experience across Bash, Python, PowerShell; Terraform/Ansible usage.
• Familiarity with system integration, security/compliance validation, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operation, development and implementation of automation across hosting platforms.
• Collaborate with solution SMEs and maintenance teams on automation tasks.
• Support system integration cycles and validation for functional and security compliance with project requirements.
• Write technical documentation, diagrams and operating procedures.
• Stay current with emerging automation technologies and best practices.
• Work with Architects and application SMEs to design, develop and commission automation solutions in an experimentation environment.
