Job summary

Adecco is seeking two Cloud Architects in Manchester to work onsite five days a week. The role focuses on designing and overseeing Azure-based cloud and infrastructure architecture for critical business applications.

You will drive secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders, and guide enterprise-wide technology decisions. A strong Azure expertise and broad infrastructure background are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and overseeing Azure-based cloud architectures.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise infrastructure components.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee Azure-based cloud and infrastructure architecture.
• Ensure enterprise applications are supported by scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
• Assess the impact of technology changes across the wider infrastructure estate.
• Provide architectural guidance across cloud, identity, databases, SaaS, and end-user computing environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to drive technology decisions.
• Support infrastructure transformation and cloud adoption initiatives.

Salary: £80,000 - 88,000 per year

Requirements:

• Azure Cloud Architecture experience.
• Broad infrastructure knowledge across networking, databases, identity, and SaaS platforms.
• Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and modern workplace technologies.
• Strong architecture, solution design, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand complex technology ecosystems and dependencies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
