Job summary

Adecco in Manchester is seeking a Cloud Architect with strong Azure expertise to design and oversee the enterprise infrastructure that supports critical business applications. You will ensure cloud services, databases, identity platforms, SaaS solutions, and end-user technologies work together securely and efficiently.

You will lead architecture projects, guide cloud adoption, collaborate with vendors and stakeholders, and help transform infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Azure and enterprise infrastructure design experience required.
• Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID and modern workplace technologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee cloud and infrastructure architecture, primarily within Azure.
• Ensure enterprise applications are supported by scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions.
• Assess the impact of technology changes across the wider infrastructure estate.
• Provide architectural guidance across cloud, identity, databases, SaaS, and end-user computing environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to drive technology decisions.
• Support infrastructure transformation and cloud adoption initiatives.

£80,000 - £88K + 5% bonus

We are looking for a Cloud Architect with strong Azure expertise and a broad understanding of enterprise infrastructure. The role focuses on designing and overseeing the technology ecosystem that supports critical business applications, ensuring cloud services, databases, identity platforms, SaaS solutions, and end-user technologies work together securely, reliably, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee cloud and infrastructure architecture, primarily within Azure.
• Ensure enterprise applications are supported by scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions.
