Job summary

An insurance business is recruiting a Cloud Architect to shape and deliver end-to-end solutions across on-premises and Azure environments. This role involves leading technical design, evolving application architecture, and assessing new technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering complex solutions and strong technical awareness across architectures. This hybrid position requires 2 days per week in the Leeds office.

• Own and evolve the Application Architecture domain, supporting Business, Data, Technology and Security domains.
• Assess new/third-party technologies, including cost, risk, gap analysis and PoCs.
• Ensure applications are well-modelled across process, people and technology, identifying unnecessary complexity.

The role focuses on defining, developing and governing application architecture, and contributing to wider enterprise domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and integration across on‑prem and Azure platforms.
