Job summary

PM+M invites applications for a Cloud Accounting adviser at a semi senior level, based in our Blackburn area offices. You will manage bookkeeping, VAT, year end and corporate tax work while supporting the Cloud Accounting division and mentoring junior staff.

We look for at least 3 years in practice, with progress toward ACA/ACCA, and strong experience with Xero and Dext. Hybrid working and travel between Blackburn and Bury are offered as part of a supportive, development-focused firm.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice
• Knowledge of cloud accounting software (Xero, Dext) is crucial
• Experience in preparing year end accounts is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping monthly/quarterly using cloud software (Xero, QBO)
• Prepare VAT returns
• Support Cloud Managers on projects
• Prepare periodic management accounts for in-house and client sites
• Prepare year end accounts
• Prepare corporate tax returns and analyze tax sensitive nominals
• Assist with cloud conversions and training
• Develop strong client relationships as trusted adviser
• Supervise junior team members and mentor less experienced staff
• Travel between Blackburn and Bury offices
