Job summary

PM+M is seeking a semi-senior adviser for its Cloud Accounting team in Lancashire. You will handle bookkeeping, VAT, and year-end work, supporting Cloud Managers on projects and developing client relationships. Travel between Blackburn and Bury offices is expected.

The role includes mentoring juniors, process improvements, and contributing to KPI-driven service delivery. A 3+ year practice background and ACA/ACCA in progress are ideal.

Qualifications

• Three years of consecutive practice experience required.
• Currently studying or completed professional accountancy qualification.
• Knowledge of Xero and Dext essential; year end experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping monthly/quarterly using cloud software (Xero, QBO).
• Prepare VAT returns and year end accounts.
• Assist with cloud conversions and client training.
• Prepare management accounts both in-house and on client sites.
• Prepare corporate tax returns and analyze tax nominals.
• Supervise junior team members and mentor peers.
• Maintain client relationships and look for value-add opportunities.
• Travel between Blackburn and Bury offices as needed.
