Job summary

J.P. Morgan in the United Kingdom is seeking an Associate or Vice President in Global Credit Trading & Syndicate to support Primary CLO Structuring/Origination and CLO Syndicate as JPMorgan's placement agent.

You will participate in deal execution, portfolio analysis, capital structure, documentation, negotiation and marketing. This role provides exposure to CLO issuers, senior execution teams and investors across the deal lifecycle, with opportunities to develop modelling skills and market

Qualifications

Experience in CLOs or structured finance/ABS.
Proficiency in CLO market software and technology (CDOEdge; Cashflow Evaluator; Intex Dealmaker).
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Strong analytical, quantitative and written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Interact with CLO Issuers, senior execution team members, Syndicate, Sales, Legal Counsel, Rating Agencies and Investors throughout all deal phases.
Participate in deal execution including portfolio analysis, capital structure tranching/rating, documentation, negotiation and marketing.
Develop knowledge of analytic tools and models to size transactions for rating agencies.
Associates: modelling CLO transactions for rating agencies, issuer and investor clients.
Monitor and prepare materials to update senior bankers and marketers on market conditions.
