Job summary

Squarepoint is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee CLO accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls for our collateralized loan obligation programs within a global, systematic hedge fund. The role requires collaboration with trustees, fund administrators, and auditors.

You will manage monthly/quarterly reporting, NAV calculations, and waterfall processes, and prepare management packages for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 5–10+ years in fund accounting, structured credit, or CLO administration.
• Hands-on CLO experience: collateral accounting, waterfalls, and reporting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with trustees/auditors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full accounting lifecycle for CLO vehicles, including collateral accounting and waterfall mechanics.
• Review trustee reports and NAV calculations for accuracy against records.
• Coordinate with trustees/fund admins to reconcile positions and reporting.
• Prepare management-level packages of CLO performance, fees, and risk metrics.
• Support external audits and responses to auditor inquiries.
