Job summary

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a pharmacy technician to join the clinical trials team at Bradford Royal Infirmary. You will be registered with the GPhC and work across dispensing, accuracy checking, and processing deliveries within the trials portfolio.

Qualifications

• Registered pharmacy technician with GPhC registration.
• No prior experience in clinical trials required; full training provided.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing and accuracy checking prescriptions in the dispensary.
• Processing deliveries and returns and resolving discrepancies.
• Set-up and close-down of clinical trials and monitoring visits.
• Review trial contracts with sponsors and the wider research team.
• Ensure safe, legal conduct of clinical trials and timely prescriptions.
• Produce paperwork for smooth running of individual trials.
