Job summary

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Research Laboratory Technician to join the Bradford & West Yorkshire Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC). The role provides essential laboratory support across clinical trials, handling receipt, processing, storage and shipment of samples in line with protocols and GCP.

Working with research nurses, investigators and other colleagues, you will help ensure time-critical samples are processed accurately and efficiently,

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in a laboratory setting and handling of clinical trial samples preferred.
• Understanding of information governance and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day laboratory support for clinical research studies.
• Receipt, processing, storage and shipment of research samples.
• Maintain accurate sample records and ensure traceability.
