Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH is offering a 12-month University Internship in Trial Patient and Site Engagement / Feasibility, based at our Winnersh office in the UK. The role splits time between two teams and includes hands-on exposure to patient and site insights and feasibility planning.

You will learn how data informs study design, work across UK and global colleagues, and contribute to practical recommendations while developing project coordination and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for a degree with placement year as part of the course.
• Minimum of three A-levels at ABB or equivalent.
• Right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.
• Ability to travel independently to the usual place of work and other sites.
• Interest in clinical research, healthcare, patient experience, data-informed decision-making or project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Split ~50/50 between Trial Patient & Site Engagement and Feasibility & Planning.
• Collect, organise and analyse patient, caregiver and site insights to inform trial design.
• Help develop engagement plans, trackers, and learning materials.
• Support feasibility activities with data review and risk summarisation.
