Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim invites applications for a Clinical Trial Coordinator internship based at our head office in Winnersh, UK. This 12-month placement starts September 2027 and offers exposure to regulatory tasks, trial operations, and trial management systems in the UK & Ireland.

You'll contribute to trial delivery, documentation, and stakeholder communications while developing transferable skills across clinical trial lifecycle and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for a Life Sciences degree with a placement year.
• Three A levels at grades BBC, with at least one science subject.
• Right to work in the UK for the full duration of the internship.
• The ability to travel independently to the usual place of work and, where required, to other sites.
• Excellent administrative skills and strong organisational capability, with the ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and meeting timelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and carry out regulatory-defined tasks in line with internal and external standards.
• Support smooth trial operations and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Work with clinical trial team members and investigator sites to support trial delivery in the UK and Ireland.
• Maintain and oversee technical systems used to manage clinical trials.
• Help ensure the Trial Master File is complete and high quality.
