Job summary

AstraZeneca UK LIMITED is offering an Industrial Placement for a Life Science student in Luton. You will join the Local Study Team to support coordination and administration of clinical trials across Respiratory, Oncology, and other areas.

The role provides exposure to regulatory processes, stakeholder liaison, and trial document management. You will gain hands-on experience from execution through close-out, with opportunities to learn the UK clinical trial process and work within Oncology or

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking an undergraduate or integrated master's degree in Life Science.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer UK clinical trials within the Local Study Team (LST).
• Prepare, review and track documents for ethical/regulatory approvals.
• Engage with hospital staff, investigators and vendors to support trials.
• Set up eTMF and Investigator Site Files (ISF) in line with ICH/GCP.
• Assist with trial budgets, invoices and payments and related finance tasks.
• Support multiple tasks and maintain high attention to detail in a team environment.
