Job summary

Panthera Biopartners is seeking a Clinical Trial Assistant for our Preston Clinical Research Site on a 12 month fixed-term contract. You will support sample processing, blood collection, and liaise with external labs to ensure timely sample transfers in accordance with IATA guidelines.

The role requires a life sciences degree, strong clinical skills, laboratory experience and a proactive, detail-focused approach to data collection and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a health-related field.
• Excellent clinical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in a laboratory environment.
• Experience in processing complex information (Data Entry).
• Pro-active mindset and motivated to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Sample processing (e.g., blood, urine) as per each specific study protocol.
• Taking blood samples.
• Liaising with external lab vendors and Sponsors to ensure safe and timely transfer of samples per IATA guidelines.
• Operate Fibroscanning on patients in line with competency frameworks.
• Responsible for complex data collection in accordance with Good Clinical Practice.
• Effective communication with the site team, including management of emails and phone calls.
• Assisting with preparation for clinical visits.
