Job summary

Panthera Biopartners is seeking experienced clinicians to take on the Principal Investigator role across our UK sites in a flexible work arrangement combining remote and on-site duties. The PI will provide medical oversight, ensure compliant trial conduct, and lead site activities with audits and regulatory interactions.

Requirements include GMC Specialist registration, GCP training (desirable), and prior PI or sub-investigator trial experience.

Qualifications

• GMC Specialist registration is essential.
• GCP training is desirable.
• Experience as Sub Investigator or Principal Investigator in clinical trials is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as Principal Investigator for respective studies.
• Provide medical oversight on trial conduct at allocated site.
• Perform PI oversight regularly and attend meetings with stakeholders.
• Oversee staff training for the study and ensure proper logs.
• Hold regular meetings with the CRA and address site performance feedback.
• Participate in audits and regulatory inspections.
• Refer participants for respective trials where appropriate.
• Provide support to in-house sub-investigators on clinical matters when required.

Panthera Biopartners conduct late phase clinical trials on behalf of pharmaceutical and biotech companies in 7 Dedicated Clinical Research Sites in the UK; Preston, Rochdale, Glasgow, Enfield, York, Sheffield and Keele.

We are in search of Consultants who would like to act as Principal Investigator for our trials in a flexible manner (combination of remote and on-site).

Role and Responsibilities:

• Act as Principal Investigator for respective studies.
• Provide medical oversight on clinical trial conduct at allocated site.
• Performs PI oversight on a regular basis and available for meetings with key stakeholders.
• Oversees staff training for the study and makes sure they are delegated on logs.
• Holds regular meetings with the CRA and acts on any feedback given regarding site performance.
• Participates in any internal or external audits and regulatory inspection.
• Refer participants for respective clinical trials where appropriate.
• Provide support to in-house sub-investigators on clinical matters when required.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Registered as a Specialist on GMC Register (Essential)
• GCP trained (Desirable)
• Previous Clinical trial experience as a Sub Investigator or Principal investigator. (Desirable)
