Job summary

Panthera Biopartners in Preston seeks a Clinical Trials Assistant (CTA) for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract to support Laboratory, Fibroscanning and clinical assistance tasks. You will work closely with the site team to ensure timely sample processing and data capture.

The role requires a life sciences degree, strong attention to detail and proactive learning. Experience in a lab environment and good communication are essential to deliver high-quality clinical research.

Qualifications

• Degree in life sciences or health-related field.
• Excellent clinical skills.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience processing complex information (data entry).
• Pro-active mindset and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Sample processing (blood, urine) per study protocol.
• Taking blood samples.
• Liaising with external lab vendors and Sponsors for timely transfer of samples per IATA guidelines.
• Operate Fibroscanning on patients with competency.
• Manage complex data collection per Good Clinical Practice.
• Communicate effectively with site team via email/phone.
• Assist with preparation for clinical visits.
