NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a Clinical Team Leader based in Kilmarnock. The post is permanent and part of the community nursing service. You will oversee service delivery and lead a team across multiple community settings.

Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Team Leader based at Kilmarnock. This post is offered on a permanent basis.

Hours

36 hours per week.
Monday - Friday

UK Driving Licence

A UK driving licence is essential for this role.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for the operational management of the community nursing team including the professional and clinical supervision and deployment of staff within the Kilmarnock Area. You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative and as a lone worker working within a variety of settings within the community. You should be able to provide evidence or personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required For This Post
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Post-graduate qualification in District Nursing or equivalent
  • Post registration experience of working with patients who have complex care requirements
  • Robust staff management
  • Experience of working within a community setting
  • Evidence of continuous professional development relevant to people with complex care requirements
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic and leadership
  • Management of wide range of clinical interventions including tracheostomy, supra pubic catheter
  • Able to develop, plan implement and monitor robust care plans
