We are looking for dedicated and innovative Registered Nurses who have the relevant skills to enable them to effectively lead a team, demonstrating the knowledge and experience necessary to inspire good practice and develop services to enhance patient experience and quality.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team within the Acute Care Pathway. You will provide a visible point of contact to colleagues requiring guidance and support in the delivery of care and a contact point for liaison with other professionals. This role is on a ward that operates on a 24/7 shift basis.
We are looking for Registered Nurses who have completed preceptorship, have experience of working with adults with mental health problems, are able to lead a team, and work creatively and effectively in a clinical environment. You will demonstrate progressive skills in leadership, supervision, clinical practice, service development, risk assessment, and risk management. You will be approachable, compassionate, and motivated with good communication skills.
You will become part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, with a focus on assessment of need, treatment, and recovery, while placing the service user at the centre of care planning. Redwood 1 provides inpatient care for men aged between 18-65, experiencing an acute mental health crisis who cannot be supported in their own home.
