Join our Intermediate Care Team in North Cambridgeshire and Peterborough as a Clinical Team Lead - Therapist.
The Intermediate Care Service provides care and therapy in patients' homes and private care settings, facilitating hospital discharges using a home-first model and admission avoidance.
The post holder will provide therapy-focused leadership and management to ensure effective service delivery across the North locality as part of the countywide Intermediate Care Service. Collaboration with the Clinical Team Lead - Nursing will be essential to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
This role involves direct management of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and non-registered therapy and care support staff. The successful candidate should be innovative, decisive, and demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills. Responsibilities include ensuring smooth team operations, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing resource use within the multidisciplinary team.
The role also involves working within the local system to optimize discharges and patient flow, collaborating with countywide service colleagues and partner organizations.
