Job summary

Yorkshire Community Care invites applications for a Clinical Team Leader to drive high-quality, person-centred care across our region. You will lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, shape clinical governance and support complex care decisions.

You will play a key role in recruitment, training and safeguarding, ensuring accurate records and effective communication with families and partner agencies. A Registered nurse with an active NMC pin is required.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current registration (NMC).
• Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience in complex care with leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong clinical skills including PEG feeding, medication administration and respiratory/airway management (training provided).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to lead teams and build relationships with families and partner agencies.
• Proven ability to manage risk, incidents and safeguarding with a proactive approach.
• Flexible to meet service needs including evenings or weekend duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure clear, timely communication across the team and with stakeholders.
• Contribute to service development, policy review and quality improvement initiatives.

Person Specification

• Registered healthcare professional qualification relevant to the role (e.g. registered nurse) and current registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
• Minimum of 3 years' clinical experience in complex care, with evidence of leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of complex needs including PEG feeding, medication administration and respiratory/airway management (training can be provided for specific equipment).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to lead teams and build strong relationships with families and partner agencies.
• Proven ability to manage risk, incidents and safeguarding concerns with a calm, resilient and proactive approach.
• Confident in audit, quality assurance and implementing practice improvements.
• Ability to work flexibly to meet service needs and to provide clinical cover as required, including occasional evenings or weekend duties.
