Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Clinical Support Worker to join Hospital24 team, supporting both in and out of hours with venepuncture, cannulation and ECG recordings. You will work within Hospital24, rotate across campuses and contribute to high-quality patient care.

The role is Band 3 on the Agenda for Change pay scheme, with a permanent, full-time contract and a salary of £25,760–£27,476 per year. Applications from diverse backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must be fully trained with proven experience in cannulation, venepuncture and ECG recording.
• NVQ level 2/3 in health care is desirable.
• Good level of secondary education; literacy and numeracy testing capable.

Responsibilities

• Provide Clinical Support 24/7 to Medical and Nursing staff.
• Perform venepuncture, cannulation and ECG recordings across campuses.
• Prioritize and manage own workload in a busy hospital environment.
• Rotate between Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust campuses as required.
