Responsibilities

• Conduct phlebotomy and cannulation for inpatients and outpatients.
• Support ward based and outpatient activities to manage waiting times.
• Label, dispatch and transport specimens to laboratories accurately.
• Record workload data and use health computer systems as required.
• Deliver urgent specimens to laboratories when needed.
• Maintain patient dignity and adhere to Trust policies and procedures.
