Suffolk Rehabilitation and Recovery Service (SRRS) is a level 1 rehabilitation unit for individuals with complex psychosis who may no longer require assessment and treatment in other settings, but may require a further period of time in hospital to continue their recovery before returning to the community. This can be for a number of reasons, such as working on coping strategies, budgeting, developing routine, consistent occupational therapy input, psychology, developing meaningful relationships and engaging in the community. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, compassionate and empathetic clinical support worker to further support the therapeutic environment at SRRS.

You will need to be enthusiastic and conscientious and do everything you can to provide the best care to our service users. We are looking for someone who displays compassion, empathy and sensitivity in their approach to people.
Main duties of the jobYou will take part in ongoing assessments, and plan, deliver and evaluate the needs of our service users, in accordance with their Care and Positive Behaviour Support plans. You will also be expected to foster an environment that encourages engagement and the development of therapeutic relationships.
You will take part in ongoing risk assessments, recognising and responding to any changes, ensuring that the care and safety of the service user remains the priority.
We have a genuine commitment to facilitate a vast spectrum of local training in addition to the standard trust mandatory training and development.
You should expect to access all relevant physical health and patient support training to enhance your existing skills.
You will also be expected to complete local training . There will also be the opportunity to learn new skills to benefit from further development opportunities.
