Job summary

NHS Professionals is seeking a Clinical Support Team Administrator to support the Yare Ward at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich. This temporary 12-week post offers 37.5 hours per week, typically 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm, with Band 3 pay (£14.05 per hour).

You will handle diary management, liaise with internal and external parties, and input information into NHS systems. The role emphasizes minute taking and high-standard customer service across stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Vocational Level 3 qualification or 2 years relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills essential.
  • Ability to manage diaries and appointments for the team.

Overview
  • Job Title: Clinical Support Team Administrator
  • Department: Yare Ward
  • Duration: Temporary role, expected to last roughly 12 weeks
  • Location: Hellesdon Hospital, Drayton High Rd, Norwich, NR6 5BE
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm
  • Pay Banding: Band 3 – £14.05 per hour
  • Trust: Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust
Responsibilities
  • Support the inpatient ward and clinical team based on the ward; main duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • Contribute to effective communication by liaising with internal and external parties and agencies as required on behalf of the team
  • Effective diary management for team members, including appointments and meetings, and regular commitments to assist in organising the workload
  • Use electronic systems to input and access information as required by the management team
  • Attend and contribute to internal and external meetings relevant to the post, including minute taking
  • Deal with correspondence and communication, liaising, prioritising and coordinating with the team
  • Maintain a clear code of conduct and high standards of customer service in terms of dignity, respect and excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
