Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker to join the Neurophysiology and Diagnostic Imaging team. The role involves caring for patients, providing clinical assistance, chaperoning, basic observations and support during examinations across Neurophysiology, Ultrasound and Mammography.

You will work within a busy multidisciplinary team, supporting safe, efficient patient care and administrative duties.

Qualificações

• Evidence of good communication with staff and the public.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems.
• Awareness of neurophysiology and radiology environments.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support across Neurophysiology and Diagnostic Imaging, including Ultrasound and Mammography.
• Act as a chaperone and clinical assistant; prepare patients and clinical areas for examinations and procedures.
• Assist with basic observations, patient movement, escorts and post-examination care within training bounds.
• Provide reception and clerical support, maintain patient information and assist with clinical systems and image/record processing.
