Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Clinical Site Manager to lead the operational and clinical management of our hospital site. The role ensures safe placement of emergency and elective patients in collaboration with medical teams and senior nursing staff.

You will oversee 24/7 inpatient flow, work with Emergency Department to meet access targets, and provide visible clinical leadership. Out of hours you act as senior contact, reporting to the on-call manager.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration.
• Registered healthcare professional with previous experience.
• Desirable: RN educated to Diploma / Degree level.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the utilisation of inpatient beds for emergency and elective admissions.
• Lead admissions pathways and optimise patient flow across departments.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the patient admission process across boundaries.
• Help the Trust achieve national targets for emergency and elective access.
• Develop and monitor local performance targets for the Patient Access Department.
• Provide out-of-hours clinical leadership and as a trouble shooter for the patient pathway.
• Ensure access and capacity processes are timely and effective for patient care.
• Oversee day-to-day and out-of-hours site operations.
