Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced clinician to lead the MRI Site Management team. The post holder will be an operational leader (Nurse or AHP) responsible for optimising bed capacity and delivering safe, patient-focused pathways, backed by real-time data and predictive modelling.

The role requires building strong relationships with senior leaders and clinical colleagues to drive site-wide performance, policy adherence, and effective business continuity responses.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or AHP with degree level and Masters level qualification in health related subject or equivalent experience
• Project Management Qualification
• Demonstrate political, strategic and operational awareness
• Experience of managing complex situations and developing solutions
• Proven experience of managing health care services
• Evidence of planning and managing activity and demand including capacity
• Evidence of acute NHS experience
• Significant operational management experience within the NHS
• Evidence of managing transformation changes in complex environments
• Evidence of managing budgets
• Managing complex communication across numerous stakeholders
• Experience of writing service-related documents and business cases
• Evidence of working with external partners to deliver improved patient outcomes

Responsibilities

• Lead the MRI Site Management team and drive delivery of safe, patient-focused pathways
• Maximise bed capacity utilisation to meet quality and performance standards
• Use real-time data and analyse for predictive modelling to support operations
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders and clinical colleagues
• Deliver services in line with Site Management Policy and other relevant policies
• Lead business continuity responses in line with EPRR standards
