Job Description:

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
• Evidence of relevant professional development, both clinically and managerially.
• Experienced in acute nursing care
• Degree educated or equivalent
• Up-to-date knowledge in area of practice.
• Awareness of NMC Code of Accountability

Duties of this role include:

• Strategically plan and deliver patient-safe clinical care in the Theatre service, aligned with business needs.
• Manage the day-to-day organization of care within the Operating Department, leading both clinical and non-clinical theatre staff.
• Provide clear direction, leadership, and support to the theatre team, fostering development, motivation, and performance to meet CQC Standards.
• Maintain a professional, cost-effective theatre service, including financial management and business planning.
• Achieve labor management targets and complete weekly staff utilization reports.
