Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Leeds is advertising a Band 7 Clinical Scientist – Radiotherapy Physicist at St James's University Hospital. The post is permanent and full-time with an Agenda for Change salary band (£49,387 to £56,515 per year).

The successful candidate will support a broad range of radiotherapy physics activities including treatment planning, dosimetry, imaging, equipment QA and teaching of staff in training, with opportunities to contribute to research and future

Qualifications

• Honours degree in a relevant subject and MSc or equivalent in radiotherapy physics.
• HCPC registration or working to achieve within 12 months of recruitment.
• Postgraduate training in radiotherapy physics/imaging (MR advantageous).
• Qualified to act as an Operator under IR(ME)R in radiotherapy.
• Strong radiotherapy physics knowledge and QA experience.

Responsabilités

• Support treatment planning, dosimetry and imaging within radiotherapy physics.
• Carry out radiotherapy QA and related experimental work.
• Teach radiotherapy staff undergoing training and share best practices.
• Contribute to research and innovation projects in radiotherapy.
