Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join the Learning Disability Service on a 6-month fixed-term maternity cover, starting October 2026. You will provide highly specialist psychological support for adults with learning disabilities, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care and robust psychological interventions.

You will lead on assessment, formulation and intervention while offering consultation and supervision to colleagues, families

Qualifications

Highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for adults with learning disabilities.
Experience providing consultation and supervision to professionals.
Strong communication and collaboration with families, carers and teams.

Responsibilities

Deliver highly specialist psychological assessments, formulations and interventions for adults with learning disabilities.
Provide person-centred psychological support across home, work, education and community settings.
Lead on strategies to promote wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
Provide consultation, advice and clinical supervision to colleagues and partner agencies.
Embed psychologically informed practice across the service and support development.
