Job summary

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to cover maternity leave for 1 year in our community learning disabilities service. You will work with the leadership team to develop the service and provide governance for psychological practitioners.

The role focuses on delivering evidence-based therapies, clinical leadership, supervision, and service development, with a commitment to trauma-informed care and social inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience with people with complex learning disabilities and mental health needs.
• Trauma-informed approaches to reduce distress and promote wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical governance for psychological practitioners in the community learning disabilities service.
• Provide specialist evidence-based psychological therapy and autonomous clinical decisions.
• Lead service development and NICE compliant psychological therapies within a designated service area.
