Job summary

Alder Hey Children\'s NHS Foundation Trust, Liverpool, is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join the Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team. The post involves specialist diagnostic assessments for ASD/ADHD in children and young people, within a multidisciplinary ND service serving Liverpool, Sefton and Knowsley.

The role requires autonomous work within guidelines, with opportunities to supervise trainees and contribute to research, audits and service development.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) accredited by the BPS.
• Current registration with the HCPC as a Clinical Psychologist.
• Experience of working within CAMHS or paediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out specialist psychological assessments for ASD/ADHD in children and young people.
• Provide supervision to trainees and junior colleagues within the Neurodevelopmental Team.
• Contribute to research, audit, policy and service development within the ND Service.
• Apply risk assessment and management within clinical practice and MDT care.
