Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated rotational Band 6 Pharmacist to gain broad clinical experience across general and specialist areas at Southmead Hospital. The role includes postgraduate training, medicines information involvement, and participation in ED commitments.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, patient-centred pharmaceutical care, with opportunities to develop clinical skills and pursue further qualifications during rotations.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent: BPharm or BSc [Pharmacy]).
• Registered with GPhC as a Pharmacist.
• Desirable: Independent Prescriber qualification or willingness to complete.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based pharmaceutical care and resolve medicines-related issues.
• Support appropriate use of medicines per local formulary and Trust policies.
• Undertake medicines reconciliation, clinical screening of prescriptions and discharge summaries.
