Job summary

Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Band 6 Rotational Pharmacist to join our hospital team in Salisbury. The role is a 16-month fixed-term contract with potential progression to Band 7 and rotations through admissions, medicine, surgery and family services.

You will develop patient-facing and clinical skills in a supportive environment, with support for postgraduate diploma and independent prescribing. Weekend and on-call duties are included, with NHS benefits.

Qualifications

• Registration as a pharmacist with General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Master's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Member of Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS).
• Hospital pharmacy experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide rotational clinical pharmacy services across admissions, medicine, surgery and family services.
• Deliver frontline clinical pharmacy care with strong patient communication.
• Support progression towards Band 7 and participate in professional development.
• Be part of the on-call and weekend rota as required.
