Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is recruiting a motivated clinical pharmacist to join the Surgical and Critical Care Pharmacy Team at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, a large teaching hospital. The post offers development across a range of surgical services within a supportive team.

You will participate in ward rounds, perioperative clinics and multidisciplinary activities, with opportunities to advance clinical practice and research in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Pharmacy is required or close to submission.
• Registered with GPhC.
• Post-registration RCP qualification or equivalent.
• Independent Prescribing qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop patient-focused clinical pharmacy services across surgical specialties.
• Work across wards and Critical Care Unit with multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to perioperative clinics, research, and quality improvement.
• Support development of staff and trainees and provide medicines information and prescribing support.
