Job summary

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pharmacist to join a growing clinical pharmacy team and develop knowledge across clinical specialties. You will perform medicine reconciliations, screen drug charts, and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Rotations cover acute, general and specialist medicine, surgery, paediatrics, and governance. You will contribute to safe discharges and medicine supply on wards, with opportunities to help

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the GPhC and able to work in the UK.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Strong time management and prioritisation abilities.
• Ability to apply evidence/guidelines to practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform medicine reconciliations and screen drug charts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Facilitate safe discharges and ensure safe medicine provision on wards.
• Support rotation across clinical areas (acute, general, specialist medicine, paediatrics, surgery, governance).
• Support students and trainee pharmacists development.
