Job summary

Hinckley and Bosworth Medical Alliance Ltd is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide a Clinical Pharmacy Service within GP practices, including structured medication reviews and medicines management across the PCN. The role emphasizes autonomous working while collaborating with GPs and other staff to optimise patient care.

Fixed-term maternity-cover position of approximately 18 months, with potential extension, offering CPD support and a strong NHS benefits package.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree with GPhC registration.
• Minimum 2 years post-registration experience.
• Experience in GP practice or primary care desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical medicines optimisation and structured medication reviews.
• Manage medicines reconciliation and transfer of care.
• Collaborate with GPs and practice teams to improve prescribing safety.
• Support CPPE pathway and prescribed qualifications as needed.
