Job summary

Boots UK is hiring a pharmacist to impact patient care across community settings, delivering NHS, private and local services with clinical expertise and a supportive team. You’ll help ensure patient safety and compliance, while leading a capable healthcare team and representing Boots in the community.

The role emphasises collaboration, mentoring others, and delivering high-quality care, with opportunities to develop across Boots’ clinical pathways and leadership tracks.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading patient and customer care within a pharmacy setting.
• Passion for delivering essential, advanced, and private services.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset and eagerness to coach others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NHS, locally commissioned, and private services using in-store and digital tools.
• Lead professional and legal standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve standards of care and safety.
• Work with Store Manager to develop the capability of the wider healthcare team.
• Grow talent reflecting the communities we serve; coach and mentor colleagues.
• Represent Boots within the local community and with healthcare professionals.
