Job summary

Boots UK is seeking an experienced pharmacist to deliver NHS, locally commissioned, and private services, while leading patient care standards. You’ll work with a proactive team using in-store and digital tools to support safe, high-quality care and community health outcomes.

The role emphasises collaboration, coaching colleagues, and representing Boots with healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance and continuous service improvement across the pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Registration with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC/PSNI/PSI) is required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience leading patient and customer care within a pharmacy setting.
• Passion for delivering essential, advanced, and private services.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset and eagerness to coach others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NHS, locally commissioned, and private services using in-store and digital tools.
• Lead professional and legal standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance.
• Monitor, evaluate and improve standards of care and safety.
• Work with Store Manager to develop the capability of the wider healthcare team.
• Grow talent reflecting the communities served; coach and support colleagues.
• Represent Boots within the local community and with healthcare professionals.
